Description
From the farmhouse veranda to the library, tools make the learner
In JCEC’s early days, children shared everything — a single stubby pencil passed among five hands. Today, a child who owns a small set of supplies is proud, attentive, and ready to learn. A full kit runs 44,000 UGX, but the essentials are beautifully simple.
-
With just 10,000 UGX: You give 1 box of 12 coloured wax crayons, 2 thick-lead pencils, a sharpener, an eraser, and a 32-page exercise book — a complete “starter station” for a nursery or P1 child.
-
22,000 UGX adds a wooden counting abacus and a second exercise book.
-
44,000 UGX fills a whole cloth pencil bag with all tools, including a small chalkboard slate.
*Every 10,000 UGX donation puts a full set of learning tools into two tiny hands that once held nothing but hope. It’s the farmhouse-to-blackboard miracle, repeated through you.*
